In January of 2020 Phoenix Wellness Center was opened by the founders: Wylie, Danielle, Zebuli and Ashliegh. Phoenix Wellness Center, LLC is owned by four members of Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
With a lot of hard work and determination, things started falling into place and then a global pandemic hit. Covid-19 was on the rise and forced most health care facilities to change strictly to telehealth. All services were switched from being seen in-person to telephone appointments and online groups. Phoenix Wellness Center, LLC had to pivot quickly and engage clients in a new way.
Here, we are very interested in providing our clients with experienced professional counseling services. These services are the foundation for a rock solid life in recovery.
Our vision is to establish a culturally competent and trauma informed practice which will become very competitive in the industry. Experience has shown us the positive impacts of adventure based learning and sober activities, this is a staple of the service we provide to our clients.
Our philosophy is that substance use related to addictions, is a progressive medical disease. When left untreated addiction can cause emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual harm to individuals, their family, and their community. We know that substance use is treatable and are personally dedicated to providing both Western and culturally relevant treatment services. We believe that spirituality is part of successful recovery and we promote holistic approaches to treatment. Our belief is that family support and communication are critical to individual recovery, family members are encouraged to play active roles in the treatment process. Everyone, regardless of their addiction history, will be considered a candidate for recovery. Staff will consistently carry a message of hope to every individual and the community.
